Brimar tubes are becoming more and more expensive as people discover them. No wonder – they’ve produced some of the best tubes in existence – think Brimar CV491 long plates! This tube is also a beautiful engineering creation. What jumped out at me was a very precise location of all instruments and a singer, but also great width of a sound stage. A few tubes have a great sound stage, but they smear instrument placement. Not in this case. This followed by a beautiful warm sound and great bass, makes this one of the best 12at7 tubes that I had a pleasure to have. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
