  1. Now this is a great tube, and it looks very cool, almost like a miniature version of a 300b. It provides very rich bass and mid-bass, which adds a lot of weight to the sound, while remaining a very detailed tube at the same time. This is definitely one of the best 6as7 tubes that I’ve tried, although I have specifically tested the Svetlana Winged C version from 1970 and have no experience with newer versions produced under the same brand. These are currently selling on eBay for about $9 a piece, and you should definitely go for it as they will make your system sing. One note, while some reports suggest these are noisier than 6080 tubes, I’ve actually noticed the opposite.

    * Visuals: Unique “coke bottle” shape reminiscent of a small 300b.
    * Performance: Exceptional weight and detail in the low-end frequencies.
    * Value: Incredible bargain at approximately $9 per tube.
    * Noise Floor: Surprisingly quiet operation, contrary to some online reports.

Final Verdict: The Svetlana 6AS7 (6H13C) Winged C is a top-tier performer and a definitive winner for anyone looking to add rich, detailed sound to their amplifier without spending a fortune.
