Another fantastic 6F8G tube. If Sylvania 6F8G was liquid and luscious, this tube is uncanny transparent. It’s like you have a window with glass in it, but then you run music on with this tube in and the window is open. Vocals move forward a bit bringing them closer to you, while instruments still remain the same. Superb holographic soundstage! But as with all these kind of tubes, it’s really hard to find. Make sure you hunt down round plate version. Flat plates and T-plates are not bad either, but not even close to round plates. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
