This tube is absolutely gorgeous! The blue glass of Arcturus tubes is mesmerizing – combine that with orange glow of the tube and you have and superb combination!!!
Sound wise, the tubes is super transparent with fantastic high frequency extension, but it becomes too much over time. In the older equipment, I’m quite sure the tube would be indispensable, but with new hardware, the tube becomes overpowering. Mesh plate type 27 is better match to the new transformers. Nonetheless, the tubes is a must have for tube aficionados.
