This is an earlier version of Oh so popular Amperex 12au7 – it could be easily identified by a large O-getter (it kind of takes most of the space at the top of the tube). The tube sonically is between the long plates Amperex version and the short plate version, although this version is short plates. Very nice balanced, but leaning to the liquidity of long plates more than to dynamics of short plates. So if long plates are too slow and liquid and short plates are too analytical – try this tube! RECOMMENDED
