A wonderful tube from Amperex. ECC186/7316 are considered the crown jewel of 12au7 family and rightfully so. Are they so good that you should pay the current asking price of the tubes on eBay? That’s really up to you, but I personally wouldn’t. The tube is very balanced, delicate, open and neutral and would last for a very long time with 10K hours per spec (a lifetime investment for many people). So if everything else is already perfect in your system and you want to add a gem, this would be it.

as u know, this is a herleen, holland 7316 with a valvo logo on it.
so which one is it?
i cant tell good enough from the phono. which one this is. i got long plates d foil getter, short plates small 0 getter, and theres a third i believe.
