One of the very little know tubes from USSR. The interesting thing is that it could be used in so many different applications with success. it’s a drop in replacement for 6N30P and the famous DR version – it’s not as good, but the difference is not as huge as you would think. It’s not as transparent, but it has the same kick butt bass (making the tube sound very dynamic), very pleasing, relaxed midrange and sweet top. Not bad for a tube that costs 5x less. In applications like Little Dot amp, the tube really made the amp shine compared to the Chinese tube (absolutely horrific) that the amp came with.
