One thought on “Mullard 12at7 D-getter Solid Plates”
Alright, so here we go, this is the first review of a bunch around British 12at7 tubes. First one is Mullard 12at7 with raised D-getter and solid plates (compared to riveted plates that were used later). Made in Blackburn factory in 1955, this is one of the earliest production Mullard tubes that I had a pleasure to experience. Sound is smooth and warm with sweet midrange. Top is a bit rolled off in this version.
