Hmm. I was very surprised to find no reviews for the tube, so here we go… Finally got around to getting these Genalex tubes from New Sensor. First of all, the tubes look fantastic. White base really makes this tube stand out – and there is absolutely nothing wrong with red and gold combination 🙂 I don’t have any NOS 300B available, so I compared the tubes to NOS RCA 2A3 tubes. Overall, RCA was a tiny bit more transparent, but Genalex performed admirably compared to that icon of vintage sound. As expected, Genalex was able to produce deeper and stronger bass due to it’s higher power output. The sound was relaxed and transparent, with great sound stage. With prices on vintage power tubes going up like crazy, it’s great to have an option that is as good as old tubes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
